DAF is a dynamic, non-profit humanitarian organization that seeks to help people in the Philippines and Asia in realizing their human potential through relevant life-changing, capacity-building and sustainable development initiatives.
History:
Develop Asia Foundation, Inc. was born out of a vision. In year December 2000, the senior leaders of the Worldwide Church of God (now Grace Communion International) saw the need for the church to make active contribution for socio-economic development of the Philippines. The vision was further expanded to include other countries in Asia. Even before its formal organization, the foundation’s leaders had already started programs and activities that address the needs of people during disaster relief operations, livelihood trainings, youth development programs, leadership and skills trainings. Finally, in May 2004, the Develop Asia Foundation was incorporated to formalize the activities of senior leaders to expand their reach.
